Rock Band could make it’s way to the Nintendo DS

In an recent interview with Edge magazine, Rock Band developers Harmonix have said that they are considering bringing the franchise to the Nintendo DS handheld.

The DS has already seen success with Guitar Hero: On Tour so maybe Harmonix thinks the time is right to introduce Rock Band on the system.

As reported by VideoGamesBlogger, Greg LoPiccolo, VP of product development at Harmonix had this to say: “We are looking carefully at the DS, and certainly aren’t ruling out developing for it in the future. However, for right now, our focus is on Rock Band Unplugged as a PSP title.”

So it looks as if their main focus is on the PSP version right now, but a DS title could be on the way in the future. Is this a game DS/i owners would like to see?
