Facebook for Playstation 3 on the way – Sony
By: Alan Ng | April 9, 2009
John Koller, who is the Hardware Marketing Boss at SCEA has recently said in a conference over in San Francisco that Facebook integration for the Playstation 3 is already in the works.
As reported by VG247, John Koller was speaking specifically about social media and when asked whether the day would come when a user is playing a PS3 game and then it had the game ’spit something out to facebook’. He said that plans are ‘already afoot’ for this and added: ”That is critical not just for marketing but for the types of games we’re trying to develop. That day is coming quicker than some may think.”
At the moment users are able to ’sort of’ use facebook on the PS3 browser, but a proper app on the XMB bar or integration into games like Koller stated above would really be nice.
Let us know what you think.

This would be SWEET. Especially if we can post updates to facebook from a game.
plus it’s another thing that the Xbox360 wouldn’t have
YAWN, xbox anounced facebook, twitter and SKY SPORTS all weeks ago, so much for another thing thing needed
that would be awesome, currently i cant post comments on facebook, why is that???
