A shocking bit of news for you now, as a consumer in the UK has reported finding ecstasy tablets inside a pre-owned copy of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV game.
As reported by GI.Biz, Richard Thornhill bought the pre-owned game from a GameStation retail store in Gloucestershire, UK and was shocked to find the tablets wrapped inside cling film in the box. He handed them over to the police station, while GameStation has offered an apology.
Richard Thornhill was speaking to The Telegraph newspaper and stated: “When I opened the box up, the cling film wrap fell out. I could not believe it. I have two children and my son plays Xbox all the time. He could easily have opened the box and found them. I dread to think what the consequences would have been if he had. He is only 12. He could have died.”
GameStation have now said they plan to launch an investigation into how the incident happened. We wonder what he was doing buying GTAIV for a 12 year old anyway, unless that’s his idea of sex education for the young chap.

( copied and pasted from the BBC news website >>)Mr Thornhill said: “What made me feel the most distraught was the fact we let our 12-year-old play the game.”
It really doesn’t matter what was found in the case of the game, it could have been another severed body part like those that are being found across the country - i couldn’t care less.
What really gets on my goat is the blatent lack of parental censorship.
article forget to ask why daddy thinks its ok for him to buy his kids an 18 rating game……
would he buy them a 18 rating film or adult movie, i guess not
i think it is funny that u think that a drug that is illegal in the U.S. is more acceptable to find in a case for a video game than for a twelve year old to be playing a video game if u are ragging on grand theft auto 4 then you have probably never played the game because u can choose to do things and not to so if this is what u think is acceptable you have a skewed view on life. i have been playing that game since i was about 9 and i think that playing a video game is better than finding a substance that could have potentially killed this kid!!!
