President of EA Sports, Peter Moore has said he hopes the EA Sports brand will become a ‘household name’ in the future along with the likes of sports giants Nike and ESPN.
As reported by GI.Biz, Moore was speaking at the MI6 marketing conference and said that he is set on ”transforming his label into a leading sports entertainment brand.”
To help achieve this, Moore has said that the company will need to talk to consumers in a ‘different way’ and use methods such as social media to seek ‘direct communication’ with fans.
Sounds like EA are conjuring up some kind of EA Sports takeover, we’ll have to wait and see how they go with this. Dont forget EA, everyone is still waiting to see how MotionPlus works out. Check out the link to GI for more details.
