Apple netbook tablet is inevitable, iPhone OS or Mac OS X?

By: Daniel Chubb | April 9, 2009 | 2 Comments

Last year we heard rumors that Apple may launch a netbook tablet at Macworld 2009, now that January has passed its obvious that this was not the case.

Next up is the WWDC among other events this year; this will most likely show us the iPhone 3.0 operating system and maybe even a new iPhone with improved camera among other specs.

What about an Apple Netbook? It seems that a netbook from Apple is inevitable, and its more about what OS it will run. Could it be based on the same iPhone OS or will it be Mac OS X?

Most computer sellers have already added a netbook to their product line, with the exception of Apple Inc. Apple fans may not be disappointed for much longer, but what OS would you like it to run?

The iPhone OS does not exist. The operating systems are:

    Mac OS X
    OS X

I rather have a Mac netboot with full Mac OS X for full blown presentations from NATIVE Apple Keynote and Microsoft PowerPoint. Even better if it is a tablet:

What would a netbook tablet be? That seems like two completely different form factors. Like a desktop notebook.
