Anti-Virus for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch: Should you be worried?

Have you ever heard about someone that does not have Anti-Virus on their home computer and you think how mad they must be? It’s like stepping into a road with a blindfold on; you are going to get hit at some point.

With cell phones getting smarter and more like computers, we are also starting to use them for the Internet more and more. This causes risks and it’s a matter of time before we start to hear about Smartphone viruses hitting many phones.

Do you have Antivirus for your iPhone 3G, iPod Touch or another Smartphone? This is something we should start to think about and one that most of us will say NO to. You can already get protection for your iPhone via the iTunes App Store.

One free application we know is called “Trend Smart Surfing”, which analyzes websites, file queries, and email in real-time for possible attacks. Should we be worried?

  1. The best thing to avoid your iphone is do not unlock the iphone. Once you unlock there will be more chance to intrude into your system.

vic dw its a scam, what they do is use a fake website to tell you you got a virus when infact you don’t then they tell you to download a anti virus which is actually a virus… Clever
