Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and SymbianGuru BT Guard 2.2
By: Peter Chubb | April 8, 2009 | 1 CommentSymbianGuru has released a new version of their Bluetooth application, which will work on Symbian S60 devices. BT Guard 2.2 has added support for Symbian S60 5th Edition; this means that the application will now feature the optimized-for-touch user interface once installed on the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic as well as the much-anticipated N97.
Intomobile tell us that there are also a number of other improvements on SymbianGuru’s BT Guard 2.2; these include bug fixes that were known on the previous version. For those of you who do not know, BT Guard works as a resident application; this means that it is always in the memory once the application has been started.
BT Guard also makes certain that you are invulnerable to potential Bluetooth hacks, something that many of us know about. This application does it in a very simple way; it automatically changes Bluetooth status according to the user’s settings.
