New York (NY) Auto Show: Dog Friendly Honda Element concept
By: Daniel Chubb | April 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe know how some people treat their pets like a best friend or family, and it seems that carmakers are also understanding this.
Honda has shown their Dog Friendly Element concept at the 2009 New York (NY) Auto Show, which includes a ramp that dogs can use in the cargo area. You can see a better photo of this over on Auto Week.
If you like what you see and disappointed that we said “Concept”, do not worry as we hear that Honda will launch a version of the vehicle in Fall 2009.
The response from dog owners looks to be overwhelming, and with the United States having an estimated 74.8 million dogs, this is big business for automakers. Do you like the idea of cars having easier dog access and improved features for dogs like dedicated dog ventilation ducts?
