New Apple iPhone rumored specs: 3.2-megapixel camera
By: Peter Chubb | April 8, 2009 | 3 CommentsSince we first heard the rumors of a new Apple iPhone, the Internet has been buzzing as to what kind of specs we can expect from the updated smartphone. The most requested feature for the new iPhone is a better camera, and there are rumors that we could see a 3.2-megapixel camera installed.
The new CMOS camera is alleged to have auto-focus and video recording capabilities, add to that a digital compass, 802.11n and a larger storage capacity. We do know that the iPhone OS 3.0 is due out in the summer, so it would be perfect timing to use this on a new iPhone handset.
Rumors of a new Apple iPhone have intensified since suppliers have started to cut their price of Apple iPhone 3G stocks. Mobiledia have rumored that Taiwanese handset component suppliers have already started to ship new parts for the successor of the iPhone 3G.
