Silent Hill: Shattered Memories confirmed by Konami
By: Alan Ng | April 7, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe’ve been hearing a few details about this game recently but Konami have officially confirmed Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the Nintendo Wii, Sony PSP and PS2 consoles.
As reported by Eurogamer, the game will be developed by British studio Climax and they are aiming for an Autumn release date.
Shattered Memories will be an ‘re-imagined’ version of the original game. That means the story will once again follow the story of Harry Mason searching for his daughter but this new version will feature all new paths, more clues and extra characters.
The Wii version will also have Wii-specific features. the Wii-mote will double up as your touch and mobile phone. The torch will help you in those dark areas, while the mobile phone will give your character access to GPS so finding your way around will be easier.
There will also be a brand new soundtrack for this as well. If it’s anything as good as the original one, fans will have something to look forward to this Autumn.
Are you going to pick this up? We definately are.
