Resident Evil 5: ‘Versus’ DLC is now live, only 1.86MB though
Filed under: Gaming, Sony Playstation 3, Xbox 360

The Versus mode DLC package for Capcom’s Resident Evil 5 is now available to download from the Xbox Live Marketplace and Playstation Store. Sized at only 1.86MB, is it cause for concern?
Capcom have been criticised by a lot of gamers who feel that this content should be been included on the disc. As reported from VG247, the patch will cost you 400 MS points or $4.99.
As the file is so small, it looks as if the bulk of the DLC is already contained on the disc, an issue which has angered fans the most.
Do you think Capcom are right to ‘lock’ away some of the discs’ content in order to save it for future DLC? Let us know your views.

i just purchased the DLC for the PS3, and although i think it’s somewhat dubious that all the data was already on the disc, i bought it anyhow because i thought that having versus mode i could play with my roommates would be a blast… only to find out it’s all online? there’s no split screen? even with teams i have to play online? i couldn’t do me and my roomie at my house against my brother and his friend at his?
so i guess i’m out of $5 because i didn’t pay too much attention to what it actually was.
