Nintendo DSi: Handheld sells 92,000 units in two days of UK sale
By: Alan Ng | April 7, 2009 | Leave a CommentThe Nintendo DSi handheld was launched on Friday over in the UK and we can now tell you that in only two days on sale, the handheld has sold a whopping 92,000 units.
As reported from GI.Biz, retailers knew that the numbers were going to be high following massive pre-order figures. With a retail price of £149.99 over in the UK, it looks as if the hefty price tag has not stopped excited fans from picking one up.
Whether retailers will be able to keep up with stock for the console is another matter though. If the DSi could manage 92,000 in just two days on sale, Nintendo could be in for a very successful few months if the trend continues.
