We know the age old battle of Apple vs. Microsoft will never end and the marketing advertisements they both do are entertaining to say the least, but Microsoft’s big bank balance could not get a Zune in the Queens hands.
United States President Obama gave the Queen an iPod, what great marketing is that for Apple? It’s just another point for the iPod when compared to the Zune. Why do you think Obama gave an iPod and not a Zune?
Yes this matters as its little things like this that can sway a consumer’s choice when buying portable media players.
The Queen’s iPod had photos and video on it from the queen’s 2007 visit to United States historical sites. If you own a Zune, let us know why you prefer it to an iPod.

I would assume that he opted for the iPod because it is actually sold and supported outside of the United States. If the Queen would need to get it serviced or would want to buy music from the iTunes UK store, she could.
BECAUSE ZUNE SUCKS
LONG LOVE APPLE
In my Opinion The Zune is better only in a few ways than the Ipod… But first He Probably gave the Queen an Ipod because maybe he doesn’t know what a Zune is or something. just becuase he is the President of our United States doesn’t mean he knows Everything! and on the subject of why i like it. First off Microsoft were the first ones to put the ability to watch videos Horizontally… that’s what i liked over the Ipod, next, Music, Podcasts and Picture Sharing Really got me on the Zune rather on the Ipod, and then the “Social” Feature that Zunes have, so that you can see what other people are listening to. that’s even better. i mean it’s not much but i do like Zune better than Ipod because it has those few Features that Ipod doesn’t have except for the videos horizontally now. but I’m not a hardcore fan for Zune’s Customer support, that’s like the only downside, is their poor customer service. other than that, it’s all good!
Microsoft chooses not to sell/support Zunes outside of the U.S. If she did receive a Zune, she wouldn’t be able to upgrade the firmware anyway.
The iPod is international, so this is not an issue.
yeah you’re right i just read about that stuff today. you’re right. but in my opinion Zune is better than an Ipod… that and i forgot to mention earlier that I’m glad I have a Zune… it expresses who i am in a way… I’m not one of those people that Follow the Crowd, so to speak…
