Rumour: New Guitar Hero and Rock Band games on the way
By: Alan Ng | April 6, 2009 | 1 CommentHarmonix Senior Designer Dan Teasdale might have let out some juicy information that was not intended for the public’s eager eyes. An image taken from the designers GDC sessions have showed that Lego: Rock Band was due to be announced.
As reported by Kotaku, the image shown not only reveals a Lego Rock Band game but more Guitar Hero titles on the way. These include Guitar Hero: Van Halen and Guitar Hero: Band Hero. As seen in the image, there are also entries for the upcoming Beatles Rock Band game and it clearly shows that Lego: Rock Band is apparantly due for release between Rock Band: Unplugged on the PSP and The Beatles game.
What do you make of the news? Looks as if Activision are planning to churn out more Guitar Hero titles. Very exciting stuff if these details are confirmed to be true.
While we’re not entirely sure how a Lego Rock Band game would work, we’re pretty sure poor old Dan Teasdale is going to receive a pasting for accidently revealing the info. Let us know what you think.
