RailPod (aka Train Car): Railway lines turned into bi-directional traffic routes

We may not know what the future of transport will be, but we can enjoy the journey that takes us there. If you love technology and autos then you will enjoy the many concepts being released and the new designs in production.

Do you remember the Peapod Mobility Car? This small electric car is just another example of the auto evolution we are seeing each year.

Today we are hearing about another form of transportation that aims to improve how we get from A to B. The photo below shows the “RailPod”, which could be called the Rail Car if it was designed a little different.

The idea behind the Rail Pod is to take underused railway lines and turn them into bi-directional traffic routes. Check out the photo below or read the full story on Mass High Tech.
