PCD at CTIA: Awkward looking TXT8030

PCD were on hand at CITA Wireless 2009 and decided to show off its latest handset, the Awkward looking TXT8030. The handset is a bar-style phone and has a unique twist design in the center of the phone.

On one side of the PCD TXT8030 at the bottom is an angled Full QWERTY keyboard, ideal for messaging. The other side has a speaker at the bottom, this is for music and the control buttons, I told you it was an awkward phone.

The D-pad always stays on the same side as the display, which is 2.2-inches in size. The TXT8030 comes with a poor performing 1.3-megapixel camera, support for 16GB microSD card as well as Bluetooth 2.0. Phone Scoop informs us that the handset will be available in Q3 2009.
