Nintendo Wii MotionPlus: Release date still up in the air

Nintendo has spoken out on the rumoured July release date for their highly anticipated MotionPlus add-on and said that dates mentioned are ‘purely rumour and speculation.’

When speaking to Eurogamer, a spokesperson from Nintendo said that dates are ‘still TBC’. It goes together with our previous story on a delayed June release, so the only concrete information fans have is that the device is set for a ‘spring release’, looks like we’ll just have to go with that untill Nintendo say otherwise.

For a controller add-on, the MotionPlus device is getting a lot of media attention around the world. Nintendo think the device is so good, it will convince non-Wii owners to pick up a console alone.
