Microsoft Software-plus-Services and Windows Mobile 7

Microsoft has not done a good job of these shots of its latest mobile devices; it is as if they have just thrown some shots together. Microsoft just wanted to try to put its point across at how they will be bridging the communication gap across platforms and technologies.

Engadget decided to look a little closer and have found something very interesting, the UI layout is very similar to the leaked screenshots of Windows Mobile 7. Could this be the direction of Redmond’s next-generation mobile platform?

We will have to wait a few months or maybe longer before we find out the truth, so we certainly have more than enough time to speculate what Microsoft are doing.
