HTC Touch Diamond: Verizon release date

We have known for some time that Verizon were planning the launch of its variant of the HTC Touch Diamond. BGR tell us that the custom handset will be released on April 10 for all B2B, web and telesales customers, the release date for the retail version has yet to be set.
Consumers will not mind waiting just a little longer, as they know they will be getting the HTC Touch Diamond for just $199.99 on a 2-year Verizon contract, which is with mail-in rebates included. If you do not want to be locked to a contract, then the price for the handset will be over $469.99.
So what will you be getting for your money I hear you ask, firstly and most importantly the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm 7500A 528 MHz CPU, other features include, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, WiFi, Bluetooth, 480 x 640 VGA resolution color TFT-LCD, Removable Memory – MicroSD and much more.
