Fonera 2.0 wireless router release date unveiled

The Fonera 2.0 wireless router was on show in Paris a few days ago, and it was announced that the device will go on sale in Europe on April 21, 2009, USA, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan will see the Fonera 2.0 released in May.

Martin Varsavsky has uploaded a video in English that helps to explain what the Fonera 2.0 does, the device allows you to connect to the internet somewhere in your home and will convert 3G to WiFi, now how cool is that.

The website also has videos in French and Spanish, so you should be able to learn all there is to know about the Fonera 2.0 wireless router before it is launched. The device will have a promotional price for the launch will be 49 Euros in Europe.
