Research in Motion (RIM) has launched its new mobile app store called BlackBerry World, and already there are more than 500 apps available for your BlackBerry smartphones. These programs can be installed to your handset via a portal direct from the BlackBerry home screen.

The App World has only been around for a few days so you would expect there to be a few minor issues, but there are still some great apps available. The BlackBerry App World is easy to browse, it is fast and the applications are easy to install.
