Nintendo Wii: Madworld not doing so well in UK, prices cuts galore
By: Alan Ng | April 3, 2009 | 1 CommentIt looks as if UK retailers are having serious problems shifting copies of Madworld on the Nintendo Wii. The game was only released two weeks ago so the news is surely going to come as a blow to Sega.
As reported by Cubed3, the failure to shift copies of the game has now resulted in UK retailers ‘slashing’ prices all over. With an original RRP price tag of £34.99, Game are now selling it for £19.99, Gamestation at £17.99 and even lower, just a staggering £16.99 over at GamePlay.
While we all like to embrace the bargains now and again, this is worrying news for the team, publishers Sega and developers Platinum Games will not be best pleased we feel.
Let us know what you think of the news. For all you bargain-hunters out there, nows the time to pounce.
