New Palm Pre WebOS Apps from Sprint on Video
By: Peter Chubb | April 3, 2009 | Leave a CommentEvery year a couple of handset are launched, and become the most talked about phone on the market, the latest is the Palm Pre. There is so much hype on the build up to the launch of the Pre, not just for the phone, but also the new WebOS software as well. Here we have a video of the new Palm Pre on Sprint and we can see how the new WebOS and Apps perform.
Sprint took its time at CTIA Wireless 2009 to show to people its new NASCAR application on the much-anticipated Palm Pre. The new application keeps an eye on all of the latest NASCAR events, as well as race-results, the app will also keep an eye on your favorite driver.
The NASCAR application is like most of the other apps running on WebOS as it downloads data in the background. This means that all your info from NASCAR is cached and can be viewed later, even when you are not online.
The new Palm Pre also supports Sprint TV, this can be launched with the Sprint TV application, and this already comes installed on the handset. Check out the video below.
