Retailers ready for Nintendo DSi, Pre-orders advised

As fans await the release of the Nintendo DSi this Friday, UK retailers have advised customers to get their pre-orders in to avoid being disappointed when normal stock runs out, which is bound to happen.

As reported by GI.Biz, the new handheld from Nintendo will be priced at £149 and Don McCabe, from UK retailer Chips has been speaking in an interview about the obvious rush for the DSi come Friday.

“The supply is tight, there’s just not a great amount of stock out there. Basically everything that we’re getting in is already pre-sold before it hits the shop floor. It’s a 100 per cent sell out for us.”

So it looks as if some people who have not pre-ordered a DSi yet, we will waiting longer than Friday to pick one up. Yesterday we reported on another retailer ShopTo who also gave their opinions on the stock demand.
