Blizzard distance themselves from Microsoft’s Xbox 720

A few days ago we reported on the news that Blizzard were planning to team up with Microsoft to play a major part in the development of the next Xbox console. Recently, we have learnt that Blizzard executive Rob Pardo has said those rumours to be untrue.

As reported from ShackNews, Blizzard, who are most famous for there phenomenal World of Warcraft series did however say that Microsoft share ideas with them, but that was all he was prepared to reveal.

He stated: “We aren’t in discussions with Microsoft regarding any future consoles. Microsoft occasionally bounces ideas off of us, with no specific reference to any possible future consoles.”

So there you have it. Whether Rob Pardo and Blizzard are just keeping hush hush about the whole thing, remains to be seen.
