A couple of weeks back the news broke that Apple were working on the iPhone 3.0 OS, and over 100 new features will be on the latest operating system. There have been a number of rumors as to when the Apple iPhone v3.0 release date will be, and we have been tipped off from one of our readers that it will be on the 6/12/09.
When Apple held the iPhone 3.0 OS preview event there was talk of a summer release, but there were also a few rumors that we could see a release as early as April, but that is just too soon. The news of a new OS update also started of a number of other rumors, that on the release of the new 3.0 operating system, Apple will launch a new version of the Apple iPhone.
There is a lot of evidence to support these rumors, such as Apple allowing stores and webstores to sell unlocked version of the iPhone. Apple usually does this when they want to shift all of its old stock before a new model is launched.
Going back to our original story of the Apple iPhone v3.0 release date, here is what one of our readers said, āI found out today from a buddy, that works for AT&T, that they sent him to training for the iPhone OS 3.0. He said that they told him that the 3.0 update will add the ability to take video as well as greatly improving the cell signal with AT&T. Where I live the cell signal sucks, so Iām very happy about that. He also told me that the release date is going to be 6/12/09ā.
