Whenever Motorola announces a launch of a new phone, it tends to generate some hype be it positive or negative, but that was not the case with the Motorola QA4 Evoke. The new handset seems to have just been missed, but there is more to this phone than meets the eye.
IntoMobile tell us that the QA4 Evoke is a touchscreen slider that is different from other Motorola designs, and this could be the design sift that they need to start making a comeback. The phone certainly has some decent features, not on the level of smartphones, but the QA4 Evoke does have some iPhone widgets as well as a full HTML browser.
Motorola has taken a lot of design features from the iPhone and carefully added them to the QA4 Evoke, and that can be seen with the widget-based homescreen. It is a shame that Motorola struggle to come up with its own designs now, it seems that with the success of the RAZR, they are fresh out of ideas.
Motorola are to launch the Hint QA30 with Bell, which will be in direct competition with the Rogers Samsung Propel.
