I was just wondering if the Microsoft Maliciouse software removal tool actually works against the conflicker virus. I haven’t heard anything, but I know that companies sometimes come up with ways to make ppl feel safer…or sometimes the ppl who made the virus has actually made the d/l but the d/l is really the virus (let me know if i don’t make sense.) I would like to know if d/l and running this program, will my comp really be safe?
Good article. Sophos has released a Conficker Removal Tool which detects and removes all variants of the Conficker worm. If people used these tools it would reduce the impact of any outbreak.

My PC is affected I used Microsoft Maliciouse software removal tool to clean my PC it detects the virus but it is not able to delete it.
