Mass Effect on PS3: All or Nothing
By: Alan Ng | March 31, 2009 | 2 CommentsWe are sure there are some PS3 owners out there who have sampled the Mass Effect series on the Xbox 360 and wished that the first game came to the PS3. With recent news of the sequel only coming to Xbox 360, GamePlayer has written an article explaining why Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 wouldnt make much sense.
The main reason is due to the fact that the sequel will allow you to continue to use your game save file from the first game and it will continue into the second game’s story mode, which is a very neat idea. If the PS3 were to magically get a Mass Effect 2 release, how will EA and Bioware be able to compensate this feature for PS3 users who have not played the first title, it would cause a lot of confusion.
While the Playstation 3 has had their own successes recently, it may be time for PS3 owners to give up hope on Mass Effect ever appearing for their console. Make sure you read GamePlayers story in full and let us know your views on this topic.
