Palm Pre: Sprint Release Date

There are a number of websites and services on the Internet that offer up some nice bits of information, and Twitter is certainly becoming the best of the bunch. The latest piece of news is regarding the Palm Pre, palmwebos has reported that a twittering of a supposed Palm Pre beta tester has said that the new phone will launch on Sprint on April 30.
Let us think about this for a moment, that is just one month away, that is much sooner that the June release rumors. Palmwebos decided to do some digging of its own, and it seems that the twittering is 100 percent legit.
We now have a whole month to wait and get things in order in preparation to the arrival of the Palm Pre. Now we will be able to find out how well the Palm Pre does against the Apple 3G iPhone, let the battle begin.

This release date was shown as a fake less than 24 hours after it was posted. And for one, Sprint only releases on Sunday, which April 30th is not.

Its not legit FYI. Number one sprint releases on Sundays and the 30th is not a Sunday. Number two Sprint gave us a window and they can move the phone to any day in the window so even if something seems legit the day before it can be scrubbed and a new day selected. The Jim Van guy or whoever you heard from was a fake he just wanted to get more twits so what better way then have everyone sign up thinking you are a beta tester. There are about 50 other twits that i sign up for that have all debunked this guy. The only ones that agree with him are the ones that got the info from him. -Hope this helps to squash the rumors and keep you from the depression of having your hopes up and crushed on the 30th.
