Mobile TV and the LG GM630

LG are to offer a new TV phone called the LG GM630, and the Mobile TV service will only be available to the Americas. The GM630 looks to be an updated version of the older LG HB620T, which is already available in Europe.
Celular Cafe Brazil has reported that the FCC has recently approved the LG GM630, and now photos of the device have now become available. The handset certainly looks a lot like the HB620T with its clamshell design and QVGA internal display and a smaller external screen.
The LG GM630 comes with a 2-megapixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth and MicroSD card support. As you can see from the photo below, the phone has a dedicated Mobile TV button. The display looks to be very small to watch TV on, but it is a nice feeling knowing that you actually have a TV in your pocket.

The LG GM630 should be launched in North and South America very soon.
