BMW Mini Cooper 50th Anniversary models
By: Peter Chubb | March 30, 2009 | Leave a CommentWho would have thought that is has been 50 years since Mr. Cooper added his mark on the original mini, and as a mark of respect to Mini fans BMW are launching a Mini Cooper 50th Anniversary, and the car has been seen on the streets of Germany.
Global Motors managed to take some spy shots of the small car, it looks to have a mildly revised front bumper, and this can be seen with the restyled fog lights and air intakes. BMW revived the Mini brand back in 2001, and has become a major success, and when a Cooper model was launched, Mini fans went crazy to get hold of one.
There have been a few different versions of the BMW Mini, such as the stretched Clubman model with those strange doors, as well as a convertible version, which was launched just a few months ago. There is even talk of the changes seen on the Copper model becoming part of the new edition MINI, to celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary.
BMW are also considering an all-electric version of the Mini.
