Yet another review has surfaced for Playstation 3 exclusive Killzone 2. This time it is from gaming site Tawkn and as usual the game has gotten another glowing review with it’s multiplayer recieving all the focus. Are you tired of reading countless reviews for Killzone 2? Perhaps it’s time to think on how the game can be improved upon
Positive aspects of the review include the ’satisfying use’ of the games weapons, the depth of the multiplayer mode and its ability/class system and basically most of the other aspects of the game that other reviews have picked up upon.
Have you guys read enough reviews of the game? I would like to start hearing about what can be changed to make this game better. No doubt Guerilla Games already have ideas for future updates and patches. I play this game regularly and from my knowledge, the majority of players have already levelled up to the max and to say people ‘like’ the Scout + Spot and mark combo is an understatement.
Let’s look to the future on Killzone 2 and how the game can be altered to vary gameplay a little. Share your ideas below.

Errm, it’s still 1/10th of the number of Gears2 and Halo3 reviews on the XBotch…
I say keep the reviews coming. This game deserves all the praise.
More reviews = greater exposure. That’s a good thing I thought.
As to your charge that the classes need to be tweaked, Killzone is so customizable that if you dislike something, you can change it yourself. If you’re not good enough to deal with players choosing the “(S)Cout plus spot and mark” combo, than create a game that better plays to your strengths; ie. Remove that class.
I totally agree with the leveling up cap but I think the ribbon/badge system gives a pretty good added challenge past the cap. Since COD, a Prestige mode seems like a no-brainer to me in multiplayer games from here on out. Guerilla would do right by a lot of people if it was added.
I guess we can start putting together a list for KZ3. Since we know it’s coming down the line.
* Keep the AI. It’s great.
* Co-Op Campaign Mode
* Party System for On-Line MP Games
* Maybe one or two more modes. Never mind.
* Longer Ranking System. Make General Be like 10,000 points instead of the measly 2800. This it takes weeks to max out the rank.
* Continous Ribbon count. Keep the current length of the 8 of each, but have a second counter for Lifetime Ribbon Collection.
Funny. Bought the game at launch, know exactly how unadulteratedly awesome it is…and every day I still check google for new reviews.
Not sure why.
Killzone 2 to me is perfect. The only thing i really wish it has was co-op and 4 player or more split screen muiltiplayer that can maybe also connect to online. If it had this, it would be the perfect game to me. I would even be willing to buy this content even on a second disk.(since i heard that it didnt have it because of techniqal issues, but if its on a second disk it should be possible, right?(hopefully) . PLZ do this if there is a new killzone3, split screen is the best it its probably why i enjoyed halo so much. though i will never get a Xbox :<(
To be honest, I HATED First Person Shooters!! … mainly because I was (probably still am actually) so crap at them! … and then along came Killzone 2, and I guess the rest is history (still not a fan so much of Halo though … and NO, not because it’s on Xbox – my kids have a 360 and seem to enjoy it?) …
I think the more reviews the better. You of course always have the choice to either read them or not? … in any case, reviews serve not only to inform, but for many of us, to confirm that, hey, this game really is THE SH!T!
I see what you’re getting at though. We all know it’s a killer game, and I guess the next natural step is to throw out our ideas on what can be improved (if anything) on either the current, or the next edition.
Ps – I actually stopped playing Killzone 2 for a little while because I didn’t want to get to the end, didn’t want the game to finish – but that was only for like a couple hours!!!
