Twitter SMS updates are returning on Vodafone

If you have been missing Twitter SMS updates, then great news as Vodafone are rumored to be bringing it back. The news is not yet official but Electricpig have heard the rumors that the microblogging service is about to receive a huge boost.

Twitter SMS updates were stopped last August, but it now seems that Vodafone want s to bring them back, if this turns out to be true, then Vodafone will be the only mobile operator in the UK to offer Twitter SMS updates.

If you Twitter fans think that is good, then there is even better news as these updates could also be free to all Vodafone customers. You will not need a special app to send a Twitter SMS update, as it works with any native SMS client of any phone, you can also use a WAP link.

Twitter has become that big that it is now going to be part of the school curriculum.
