
IE8 Features: Windows Mobile 6.5 overhauled IE web browser
By: Peter Chubb | March 27, 2009 | Leave a CommentMicrosoft are working hard in all areas of its browser and operating system business. Windows Mobile 6.5 is coming and its web browser has also been overhauled and will be much more than just a mobile-port of Internet Explorer 6.
WMExperts are reporting that IE6 mobile web browser will get some of the advanced features that are being used on IE8. Internet Explorer 8 is the latest web browser from Microsoft, which has only been out for just over a week.
There are a number of features that will be revamped on the new mobile IE web browser, such as its navigation controls, full-HTML rendering and support for Flash and more touch-optimized browsing. Internet Explorer 6 Mobile will also feature Internet Explorer 8’s JavaScript engine.
