
GDC 09: Hideo Kojima confirms next Metal Gear Solid?
By: Alan Ng | March 27, 2009 | Leave a CommentWhen speaking at his keynote speech at this years Game Developers Conference, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima gave away the biggest hint yet that another Metal Gear Solid game is in development.
In a report over at Eurogamer, Kojima talked about the history of Metal Gear Solid and his experiences with the game to date, before concluding his talk with his announcement of his ‘final mission: The Next MGS’ plastered all over the big screen for everyone to dwell on.
In this ‘Mission’ he aimed to use a combination of Japanese and Western development philosophies and even invited other developers from the watching audience to come along to Kojima Productions Studio and share ideas on the project.
Whatever he is cooking up, it is usually a big deal. We should expect to hear more about ‘The Next MGS’ leading up to this years E3. Meanwhile, don’t forget about his portable game, Metal Gear Solid Touch.
