Some fresh news from GDC ‘09 now as Halo 3 developers Bungie have ‘promised’ to continue supporting the Xbox 360 FPS for two more years, which is sure to please fans of the franchise.
As reported by Eurogamer, Bungie producer Allen Murray stated: “Halo 3 took two and a half years to make, and we’re still working on it. We’ll probably be working on it for two more years.”
After all the criticism aimed towards Halo lately and debates whether the franchise is finished or not, this bit of news should be a step in the right direction for Microsoft and it’s prized asset. At the moment though, Halo Wars is continuing to perform well and Halo 3: ODST is still on track for a release this autumn.
