Will Microsoft and Blizzard team up for next Xbox console?

When speaking at the Game Developers Conference, Rob Pardo from Blizzard confirmed that his company has already held talks with Microsoft regarding the follow up to the Xbox 360 console.
As reported from GI.Biz, talks are still ongoing he said as it looks as if Microsoft are now starting to think about hardware development for their next system.
On a side note, Pardo also revealed why popular MMO World of Warcraft is yet to appear on a home console as he believes the hardware in console is not suited to Real Time Strategies at the moment.
He said: “There are are so many games like we make at Blizzard that we don’t take to consoles because they don’t support the input device and you end up with crappy ports. That’s why RTS games never do well on consoles. ”
