Sony PS3: Resistance 2 DLC and Patch 1.50 details

Yesterday we gave you a summary of what will be included in the Resistance 2 patch update which goes live sometime today. Well, the Community Manager for Insomniac Games has posted up full details of the patch as well as DLC info on the official PS Blog.

We’ll start with the new map pack that will be available to purchase from the PS store. As taken from the Blog:

The Aftermath Map Pack features three new battlefields, two set in Twin Falls (Aftermath and Pit Stop) and another in Orick (Outpost). All of the maps support 20-player Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, while Outpost also lets you play 20-player Core Control. The Aftermath Map Pack will be available for download through the PlayStation Store for $5.99.

There are also 6 brand new multiplayer skins for you to try out, each one costing $0.99. These are Rachael Parker, Female Soldier, Ravager, Cloven (Retribution model), Ranger Variation, and Black Ops Variation.

Now comes the main portion of the update, the 1.50 patch for the game. While we already informed you of the key updates that will happen as a result of the patch, it turns out that there are actually tons more additions and improvements that will be taking place.
