School Curriculum: Taught how to use Twitter

Twitter is like the new Facebook, everyone and their friend seems to be doing it, but who would have thought that it would become part of the school curriculum. Children under the age of eleven will now be taught how to use the social networking site, Twitter.

According to the Telegraph the children will also be taught how to use blogs, podcast and webcams. Adding this into the curriculum will allow children to improve their keyboard skills, learn how to use spell-checkers and also look at the online dictionary Wikipedia.

Children will also get a chance to learn about mathematics, by understanding how to use programs such as spreadsheets, where they will be able to prepare budgets and manage their money. Another important part of this new school curriculum is that teachers will be raising awareness about bullying via mobile phones and the Internet.
