Samsung Haptic 8M Phone: Specs and price
By: Peter Chubb | March 26, 2009 | 1 CommentSamsung already have a range of touchscreen phones, but yesterday they decided to add to that with the launch of the Haptic 8M handset. The cell phone uses the haptic feedback system on its 3.3-inch display, which has a resolution of 400 x 800.
Akihabara have a number of photos of Samsung Haptic 8M which features a massive -megapixel camera. The camera certainly has a number of cool features, such as face tagging technology, much like face recognition, flash, smile detection, HSPA-based 3G and T-DMB digital TV tuning.
The cell phone also has a microSDHC card slot along with the TouchWiz interface. The Samsung Haptic 8M will only be made available in its homeland of Korea for the moment, and has a price tag of $660. The phone does not support US 3G, so a different version of the phone will need to be launched in the US.
This is not the only 8-megapixel phone that Samsung have to offer, another popular model is the Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition. If you much prefer LG then the LG KC780 also sports an 8-megapixel camera.
