Casio Exilim EX-FC100 Review: Fast point-and-shoot camera
By: Peter Chubb | March 26, 2009 | Leave a CommentHere we have the Casio Exilim EX-FC100, which is a 9.1-megapixel fast point-and-shoot digital camera. The EX-FC100 combines high-speed technology with an ultra-portable chassis, and has a huge amount of features packed into its little case.
The camera has a 5x optical zoom range, not as good as some of the Panasonic models but still better than the standard 3x optical zoom. There are a number of best-shot modes, but I have found in the past that I can never find one good enough to take in low light conditions.
Some of these best-shot modes are much the same with many of the older Casio models, and seem to be more for gimmicks. The best results can be found in the 30fps high-speed shooting mode. The price for the Exilim EX-FC100 will be $350 when it is released in April.
