Xbox 360 blue-tinted dev kit
By: Peter Chubb | March 25, 2009 | Leave a CommentMicrosoft will be unveiling its new blue- tinted Xbox 360 dev kit at the Game Developers Conference, and will be made available to game developers in the summer. Do not think that Microsoft have just gave the console a fancy new cover, there is more going on inside.
The blue-tinted dev kit has double the memory of a standard Xbox 360, so that is 1GB, this makes game developers task easier when it comes to tweaking their software. It does not matter how much begging you do, this unit will only be available for game developers.
That is about all what has changed on this blue-tinted dev kit model, and Microsoft have still left the same old green ring, no upgrade to a blue one then. You can be certain that this unit will not get the RRoD, as it will have the new Jasper in it.
