VG247 has reported that a developer at GDC informed them that PS3 firmware update v2.70 will be made available this week, developers have just received it on Monday. As yet it is no known what will be included in the update, but there has been a lot of speculation.
Some of the rumors suggest that update v2.70 will feature a reduction in load times for XMB and Trophy. PlayStation 3 users hope that this update will give them much more than v2.69, we will just have to wait and see.
