Back in November BlackBerry fans were told that the Storm was going to be the best handset from RIM, but in reality, that was not the case. Owners of the Storm have been moaning about the handset ever since, but Boy Genius Report does not have much sympathy for them, as he did tell them to hang on and wait for the release of the BlackBerry 9630 Niagara from RIM. However, the Storm have had a few firmware updates which has helped to make the handset more stable.
In BGRs full review, it says that the 9630 Niagara on Verizon is the best BlackBerry experience on the planet; it states that it is the phone that we have all been waiting for. BGR have taken their time and come up with one of the best reviews on the Internet, and they conclude that you should smash up your Storm and give them away to charity.
Although the handset is still in its buggy stage, by the time that it comes to the launch, the 9630 should run along just nicely. RIM and Verizon have done a great job and will certainly ruffle a few feathers for AT&T’s BlackBerry customers, just maybe a few might just jump ship and head over to Verizon to get their hands on the BlackBerry 9630 Niagara.
There is no final release date, but rumors say that the RIM BlackBerry 9630 Niagara could be released in May.
