Nintendo Wii update now allows games to be run from SD cards
By: Alan Ng | March 25, 2009 | 1 CommentAn update to the Nintendo Wii system software means it now has the ability to run games directly from SD cards. It also means any games downloaded from the Virtual Console or WiiWare can now be stored directly to the SD card and run from them as you please.
According to Eurogamer, games are temporarily transferred to the Wii’s internal flash memory while they run. Saved games will still need to be saved on the Nintendo Wii’s system memory though, but thats not too bad.
