If you were asked what kind of vehicles we would be driving in the future, we all seem to have the same ideas, not so with Daimler’s trainees. They were asked to design a vehicle for the future, and the result is this Mercedes-Benz F-Cell Concept Roadster.
The vehicle is a actual time-warping fuel cell concept and took over 150 trainees to create. The project involved junior employees, where they were given the chance to learn in a creative way, as well as learn other alternative-fuel systems.
The F-CELL Roadster has those unique Benz Patent Motor Car styling’s along with 21st century technology, and it seems to work very well. It is nice when old and new can meet, from the carbon-fiber buckets with hand-stitched leather. Driving the vehicle is very different from your normal road car, as the F-Cell Concept Roadster uses drive-by-wire central control joystick.
The jewel in the crown has to be the Roadster’s 1.2 kilowatts fuel cell powertrain, which has a top speed of 25 kilometers-per-hour and a range of 350 kilometers.
This has to be the perfect solution for global warming and is the ultimate green car.
