Palm have had a very difficult time of late, stocks are at an all time low, the reason is because of the company’s aging handset range. Never has a company put all its hopes on to one phone, as Palm has with its much-anticipated Pre Smartphone.
The latest Smartphone has a lot a great feature that many are saying is the iPhone killer, but that was also said about RIM’s BlackBerry Storm. Business Weekly has been taking a closer look into the whole Palm Pre thing, and has come up with something interesting.
The apps on the Pre will be the make-or-break of the Smartphone, and with a huge community of developers lining up to become part of this latest handset, it has already gotten off to a great start. Developers and programmers were asked to join Palm in a conference about the Pre, and most of them were left convinced that the new Smartphone had something special.
The Palm Pre also has another weapon up its sleeve, and that is the new WebOS. In recent tests, it shows that the Palm Pre browser is much faster than the Apple iPhone Safari browser. Just maybe Palm have finally got things right, and will now be able to compete with the big guys.

Is vaporware. No one’s physically seen all of these claims, and we’re supposed to believe such inflated promises from such a struggling company? I don’t think so.
Launch, then we’ll talk.
Palm is the future of the phone industry. You couldn’t give me an Iphone. Looking forward to the Pre.
