Lamborghini Estoque not killed off: No production approval either
By: Peter Chubb | March 24, 2009 | Leave a CommentThere have been a number of rumors over the weekend about the demise of the Lamborghini Estoque, but Lamborghini has issued a statement stating that the Estoque has not been killed off. The statement also added that the model has not been approved for production either.
The supercar maker did say that if they were to produce a new model, then it would be a four door luxury performance saloon, and the Estoque looked to be the perfect choice. It is not certain why Lamborghini have been holding off on its production of this new model.
The Lamborghini Estoque was first revealed in Paris as a concept car, and was showing of its V10-powered 500-horsepower four-wheel drive sedan. The Estoque was all set to be the automakers first volume model, which they said would shift at least 2,000 to 3,000 units per year.
