Castle Crashers - Xbox Live Arcade game of the year

Microsoft have confirmed that Castle Crashers on the Xbox 360 has been officially crowned ‘Game of the Year’ by Xbox Live arcade users. This came after 185,000 people cast their votes in a recent service poll asking gamers to choose their top picks from some of Xbox Live’s finest.

As reported by Eurogamer, Castle Crashers also picked up the awards for ‘Best Original Game’ and ‘Best Co-op Mode’. Not surprisingly, Capcom’s Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix also picked up three awards for ‘Best Versus Mode’, ‘Best Remake’ and ‘Best Graphics’.

Let’s hope we see more fun titles from the guys at Behemoth since they did a great job on this one. If you havent tried the game yet, you might want to try your luck winning some free MS points, then you can pick up this game for nothing, now theres a deal.
